About The Role

Qcells USA is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join its HR team in a full-time, remote role. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Total Rewards, the HR Generalist will support daily HR operations across multiple functional areas, including compliance, onboarding, employee engagement, HRIS systems, reporting, and talent development. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and fast-growing clean energy company with nationwide impact.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and audit Per Diem processes and coordinate with payroll
  • Oversee onboarding, new hire orientation, and I-9 verification
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and internal HR regulations and processes
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to generate reports and guide decision-making
  • Contribute to Workday and ADP system implementations
  • Administer HR documentation and maintain personnel records in compliance with legal standards
  • Assist in planning employee engagement programs and support recognition initiatives
  • Handle data changes, promotions, and other status updates in collaboration with HCM teams
  • Provide immigration and visa support as needed
  • Communicate effectively with employees and leadership on HR-related matters
  • Contribute to process improvements and HR policy development

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of benefits programs, HR operations, and labor regulations
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (such as ADP Workforce Now) and Excel
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity

Preferred

  • Experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) or energy sectors
  • Familiarity with Workday, Paycom, Paylocity, or related platforms
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, especially with leadership
