Performance Marketer on Meta (Full-Time, Fully Remote)

100-140K | 1% Equity | YC-Backed | Millions in Revenue | Early Team Member

We’re a Y Combinator-backed startup selling a DTC at home health test. We have millions of dollars of revenue after only 12 months of business and our TAM is massive. We’re looking for a scrappy, hands-on marketer with extensive experience analyzing and creating Meta Ads to help us move even faster. Someone who’s not afraid to tackle tough or tedious problems. You’ll work directly with the founders to test, build, and scale marketing channels that drive real revenue.

What you’ll actually do

  • Analyze ad performance data, understand what’s working, and try new things – fast
  • Must be comfortable reading and understanding charts
  • Must understand how the metrics speak to creative quality – CTR, Hook Rate, Hold Rate, Conversion Rate, AVG Watch Time etc
  • Write ad briefs and hand them off to our video editors to create short-form video ads
  • Improve messaging across Ads
  • Use AI to generate images, videos, and voiceovers for ad creative
  • Source UGC creators and instruct them to provide content
  • Support influencer partnerships and paid creator campaigns

What we’re looking for in a candidate

  • 6+ years of experience creating video ads in the DTC space and with Meta Ads Manager
  • Deep familiarity with the metrics used to analyze the funnel from Creative to Purchase.
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions
  • Quick to understand charts and graphs
  • Excellent pattern recognition skills – to identify patterns across past and present ads – both winners and losers.
  • Ability to ingest information and learn new skills and concepts from Youtube and online articles.
  • Moderate skills with Google Sheets

What is not required

  • Advanced video editing skills (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects)
  • We have video editors that will transform briefs into videos
  • Experience with Google Ads

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with e-commerce, DTC, or health/wellness products
  • Copywriting or funnel optimization skills
  • Having strong opinions on hooks and scroll-stopping content
  • Experience with Shopify
