- Assemble Turbine/main Valve components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform mechanical checking , clarence checking on turbine/main valve to ensure proper functionality.
- Install bearings, seals, and other components necessary for the turbine’s operation.
- Ensure the correct alignment , Clearance of turbine/main valve parts during assembly.
- Document assembly and testing procedures, including identifying and reporting any issues encountered during assembly.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to resolve & reduce assembly time .
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Inspect and verify the quality of turbine/main valve components before and after assembly.
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably with turbines/main valve or large-scale machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and specialized turbine/main valve assembly equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
- Willingness to travel for on-site turbine installations and maintenance as required.
