JBM Group Hiring Group Head – Projects in Gurugram, Haryana, India

Job Purpose:

Oversee all aspects of the wide range of construction projects from start to finish, working closely with engineers and architects to develop plans. Good Experience in Industrial project , Machine foundations & Pre Engineered Building is must.

Key Responsibilities:

(A) Planning, Execution & Contract Management –

1. Project Planning and Execution. Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

2. Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.

3. Preparing work for the whole team

4. Budgetary Estimate & cost Estimation and Value Engineering

5. Developing deliverable schedules as a roadmap for the construction team

6. Following the project in case there is a need to handle or supervise some tasks

7. Reviewing the project in depth to determine if everything is done according to plan

8. Coordination and Basic knowledge of MEP works

9. Review of Tender Document , BOQ , Technical Specifications , GCC and SCC of contract

10. Project close Out

11. Can Deliver the project in Timelines to meet end User Requirement / customer deadline

12. Change order Management

13. Finalization of extra Items / NS items

14. Review of PEB tender & Evaluation on technical aspects of PEB quotes & Value engineering to bring the cost in agreed Budget

15. Streamline Billing Process of contractor and Follow up for payment of contractors.

(B) Time Management:

16. Develop a Master plan on MS Project and Tracking of the same.

(C) Statutory Compliances:

17. Manage the process of obtaining all necessary statutory clearances for execution at site.

18. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations for site execution work.

(D) Vendor Management:

19. Lead the team ,Consultant PMC and Contractors to resolve construction related issues in a time bound manner so that work is not held up due to lack of decisions on ground Resolution of issues on time bound manner

(E) Manpower, equipment, and materials:

20. Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

21. Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met

22. Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies

23. Hire contractors based on Pre qualification criteria and other staff and allocate responsibilities

24. Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance

(F) Quality Assurance & Safety:

25. Implement and maintain Project Quality Plan & quality assurance processes throughout execution of work at site.

26. Conduct regular project reviews to assess and improve performance.

27. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards as per Agreed EHS Plan and report issues.

(G) MIS:

28. Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.

29. MIS review and update to management

Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Relevant Experience : 24+ Years in Site Management, Execution, Project Management handling huge projects

Skills & Capabilities Required:

  • Proven experience as a construction project manager
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures , new construction techniques and material and project management principles
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with construction/ project management software. Knowledge of MS project is Must
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • A team player with leadership abilities
  • Basic Knowledge of Autocad
