ServiceNow Solution designer The Solution Designer Specialist is responsible for creating, reviewing and assuring ServiceNow designs, ensuring they are structured appropriately for business use cases, conform to principles and standards, and support interoperation with other parts of our business platform. This role will take the requirements and design the solution to ensure it meets the business requirements. Hence, the role holder may require challenging the requirements, seeking clarity from the requirement owner, explaining improvements, these conversations are difficult/complex. This will enable the requirement owner to amend their request, ensuring the scope and scale is clear. Key Responsibilities:
- Creates and owns technical designs for a specific technology area, delivering work autonomously. Acts as an informed consultant during discovery process.
- Integrates and implements end-to-end solutions across customers and business areas involving people, process, product, networks aspects.
- Monitors performance of architecture standards and drives improvement for adoption and compliance.
- Responsible for getting the solution to a “ready to build” state by adherence to ACE (Architecture Conformance Expediter), Security Passport and PIA processes.
- Stay involved and remain accountable for design integrity throughout build, testing and deployment.
- Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability
- Good knowledge on software configuration management systems
- Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends
- Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
- Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available
- Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions
- One or two industry domain knowledge
