We’re looking for a detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and drive cost control, financial forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. This role focuses on standard costing, inventory accounting, margin analysis, and operational performance. You’ll partner cross-functionally, lead budgeting and forecast cycles, and support monthly financial reporting.
What will you do day-to-day?
Cost Analysis, Control & Reporting
- Perform accurate month-end accounting, reconciliations, and reporting for Sales to Net Margin, including freight, duties, tariffs, and inventory/intercompany transactions.
- Identify cost inefficiencies and recommend improvements across departments.
- Maintain and enhance the cost control framework to support accurate financial forecasting and operational insights.
Variance Analysis
- Conduct variance analyses comparing actuals to budget, forecast, and historical trends.
- Develop and present statistical reports highlighting key drivers of financial performance.
Inventory & Cost Management
- Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to optimize inventory processes and minimize waste.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead quarterly financial forecast preparation and gross margin analysis by volume, pricing, and cost drivers.
- Support the development and maintenance of cost projections and import-related expenses.
ERP & Systems Support
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of financial data within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Support financial planning and analysis through tools.
Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external accounting standards.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and analysis.
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3–8 years in financial analysis and cost accounting.
- ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred); TM1 or Power BI a plus.
- Strong Excel and data modeling skills.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and work across teams.
