We’re looking for a talented and passionate Product Manager who expects more from their career. It’s an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to develop and deploy one of our great Products in the Grocery Retail market.
Joining our Category Retail & Insights Product team, you’ll work with world class and passionate people to act as the product manager, creating and owning the product backlog, story creation and estimation sessions.
You’ll work with the Senior Product Manager and Product Director to prioritise the detailed product backlog and the technical teams to ensure sprint level releases are aligned to the strategic product roadmap. You will also support the roll out of the product within the business and to new clients.
The Assortment tool aims to empower retailers and CPGs by offering a streamlined, data-driven approach to optimizing product ranges. It bridges the gap between category planning and in-store execution, ensuring that assortment recommendations are not only tailored to customer preferences but also practical for shelf implementation. By integrating data science with client insights, Assortment helps users make informed decisions on which products to prioritize, enabling more precise and agile range reviews.
What we expect from you
- BS degree or equivalent in relevant subject
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- 5+ years of Experience in product management
- Experience in data science and data insights
- Familiarity with machine learning, AI, and data engineering concepts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work with the Senior Product Manager or Product Director to prioritise the detailed product backlog, working with technical teams to ensure sprint level releases are aligned to the strategic product roadmap.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and experiments based on business goals and user needs.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams on a day-to-day basis to resolve challenges and ensure we build quality products our users love while championing agile software development best-practice
- Analyse data and run market research, also research on existing users, supporting the Senior Product Manager to gather feedback from client and account teams to inform your work and track product success
- Manage the roll out of the product within the business (e.g. system and process updates, communications and training to all appropriate areas). Support the Learning team to produce training and education materials for internal and external upskilling where required.
