Key Result Area (KRA) Supporting Actions Project Scheduling & Planning
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera/MS Project, including work breakdown structures (WBS). – Align engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) timelines with project goals. – Regularly update and optimize critical path method (CPM) schedules.
Resource Planning & Allocation
- Assess manpower, equipment, and material requirements for each phase. – Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and execution teams for resource availability. – Minimize resource conflicts and optimize productivity.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Track actual project progress vs. planned schedule. – Identify delays, bottlenecks, and schedule deviations. – Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
Risk Identification & Mitigation
- Identify potential risks affecting project timelines. – Develop and implement contingency plans for delays and disruptions. – Ensure proactive measures for weather, labor strikes, or supply chain issues.
Coordination & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a bridge between engineering, procurement, execution, and finance teams. – Facilitate weekly coordination meetings to discuss progress and issues. – Ensure seamless communication between internal and external stakeholders.
Cost & Budget Control
- Track budget consumption against planned estimates. – Identify potential cost overruns and suggest corrective actions. – Work closely with procurement to ensure cost-effective scheduling.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with HSE, statutory, and regulatory requirements related to planning. – Maintain and update all project schedule-related documents and approvals. – Support audits and project reviews with accurate records.
Continuous Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in the planning and scheduling processes. – Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects. – Optimize scheduling tools and methodologies.
