The Brand Marketing function for Emerging Business is at the forefront of driving rapid growth and market expansion. It crafts bold, innovative propositions and delivers clutter-breaking communication that captures attention and fuels business momentum. From high-impact ATL and BTL campaigns to performance marketing and digital platform strategy, the function leads all brand-building and marketing efforts end-to-end, shaping narratives that not only attract but also convert.
About the role:
As a Brand Marketing Manager, you will lead the marketing charter for the Holiday Packages business at MakeMyTrip. You will be responsible for crafting and executing a holistic, multi-channel growth strategy. This role demands a sharp brand mind, a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, and a passion for building campaigns that drive both brand love and business outcomes. You’ll work cross-functionally to create compelling narratives, drive customer acquisition, and scale the brand in a competitive and dynamic travel landscape.
What will you be doing:
- Driving demand for brand offerings across both online and offline (in-store) sales channels, while ensuring alignment with ROI objectives.
- Identifying growth opportunities by product, market, or consumer segment to support efficient and sustainable business expansion.
- Building and maintaining a strong understanding of consumer behaviour, category trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Developing and executing insight-driven brand communications and campaigns—from ideation and briefing to creative development and media execution.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external creative/media agencies to ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging.
- Leading the development of integrated media strategies (across on-platform, performance, and brand channels) aligned with broader marketing and growth goals.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams (Revenue, Product, Category, Sales) to drive a unified marketing approach and seamless go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
Qualification & Experience:
- MBA from a reputed institute with 4–6 years of Brand Marketing experience in an e-commerce or FMCG brand.
- Proven track record of managing both ATL and BTL brand campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms such as Google Marketing Platform, Meta, and others.
- In-depth understanding of performance marketing channels, including SEO and SEM.
- Experience in trade and franchise marketing is preferred.
- Familiarity with owned-base marketing initiatives (CRM/CLM) is a plus.
